Fahad Islam was in his Islamabad’s office that night when his cell phone rang with an incoming call from Boston. The NUST graduate from 2012 Civil Engineering batch hustled out of the office that night to take the call from Harvard Business Schools admissions director. It was great news. He had been accepted to the Full-time two year MBA program at Harvard and was told that he had done a great job tailoring his essays and applications.

Fahad, who graduated from NUST with a degree in civil engineering only three years earlier, had applied to Harvard in the first round. Brightlink Prep had helped Fahad with his GMAT preparation and his MBA application to Harvard, which were a kind of a challenge given the diverse range of experiences and roles that Fahad had been in. From running a start up to avidly helping non-profits, Fahad had a unique profile for a Pakistani applicant.

Ultimately, however, we think what sealed the deal for Fahad was his development of several online applications, starting and selling one blogging business and his voluntary work in Pakistan. His GMAT score was over 700. This is an even a prouder achievement for us at Brightlink Prep.
