Brightlink Prep student, Shandana Waheed, has been awarded the Falak Sufi Scholarship 2016 at the New York University (NYU)

Brightlink Prep student, Shandana Waheed, has been awarded the Falak Sufi Scholarship 2016 at the New York University (NYU). Shandana is a graduate of Forman Christian College University (FCCU) in politics and history. This scholarship is awarded to only 1 person from the majority Muslim population countries in South Asia. Shandana has also been featured in tribune and is set to be covered by New York times later this quarter. More information about the scholarship can be found here.

The scholarship includes a 100% tuition waiver and an academic-year stipend of $26,200, student health insurance, and registration and services fees for up to two years. Upon graduation a job guarantee is also provided as part of this scholarship. Shandana has been kind enough to share with us her profile.
