The world is changing. Technology has changed the way we live and work, and it will continue to change as time goes on. In 2030, there will be tons of different jobs that never existed before! It’s hard to know what they’ll be because technology changes so quickly that nobody can predict exactly what these new jobs entail. Still, you can make an educated guess based on current trends. Some of the future metaverse jobs might include:

1. Metaverse Planner

The metaverse planner is responsible for planning the growth of virtual communities, figuring out how many servers are needed to support them, and ensuring that people can access those servers. In addition, mataverse planners work closely with social media companies to make sure that the virtual world is a safe place for everyone. They also work with the architects that design the virtual communities to layout where things will be so that people can access them easily.

2. Ecosystem Developer

The ecosystem developer is a metaverse planner, but works with virtual communities differently. Ecosystem developers spend their time figuring out what the communities need and then coordinate with the people who design the building blocks of these ecosystems. The ecosystems might include games, social media sites, or even communities that offer people support.

3. Metaverse Safety Manager

A metaverse safety manager is someone who monitors all of the virtual worlds and makes sure that people are safe while they’re there. For example, safety managers might monitor hacking attempts, report online harassment, or make sure that people follow laws that exist in the gaming world. This job might also include a good understanding of the psychology of online harassment and how to combat it.

4. Metaverse Transparency Officer

Metaverse transparency officers work to ensure that people know what’s going on in the virtual world and how it affects these people. Transparency officers may need to explain anything from new security updates to the release of new types of currencies. They may also spend time explaining any changes made by platform owners and why they’re necessary.

5. Metaverse Health Manager

A metaverse health manager helps people to stay healthy while they’re online. The job of a metaverse health manager is to manage the training of doctors, work with pharmaceutical companies, or even offer virtual surgery using 3-D printers. The metaverse health manager must have extensive knowledge of technology and human health. The manager works closely with the metaverse safety manager in order to keep people safe.

6. Metaverse Market Researcher

A metaverse market researcher helps companies see how their products are performing in the metaverse. For example, researchers might offer information on what types of games people play, how often people use social media and even how much time the public spends online. This type of data is valuable for several different reasons. First, it helps companies decide if their strategies are working. It allows other metaverse planners to see where there’s room for growth. It might even help governments understand which types of laws need to be changed.

7. Metaverse Hardware Builder

Metaverse hardware builders are responsible for constructing the servers that power virtual communities. Therefore, they must have a deep understanding of both technology and construction and work quickly to keep up with the ever-changing demands of the metaverse. Hardware builders also work closely with the metaverse safety manager to ensure their servers are secure and well protected.

8. Metaverse Storyteller

Metaverse storytellers make the metaverse feel like a living, breathing world. They might write screenplays or even choose what’s included in animated films, but their primary goal is to create immersive storytelling experiences for people who visit virtual worlds. Therefore, they need to have a deep understanding of how storytelling works and integrate existing technology into their stories in a way that doesn’t distract from the experience. Metaverse storytellers also need to understand what makes people care about characters and how they can work these techniques into their writing.

9. Metaverse Bot Master

A metaverse botmaster is responsible for creating and managing different virtual assistants. Therefore, botmasters need to know how the assistants will work and what they’re meant to accomplish. This means that a metaverse bot master needs excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of both artificial intelligence and natural language processing. A metaverse botmaster also needs to work closely with the safety manager because their assistants might be used for reporting.

10. NFT strategist

NFT strategists are responsible for the development of new non-fungible tokens. They need to know how NFT’s work and find opportunities that other designers may have missed. They also need to understand where they fit in the larger metaverse ecosystem and their role for others. NFT strategists need excellent communication skills because they will spend a lot of time working with different teams to develop new ideas for NFTs.

(Bonus) Blockchain engineer

Blockchain engineers build the foundations of the metaverse. They need to know how blockchain technology works, discover potential problems before they arise and understand how their decisions will affect other parts of the system. A sound blockchain engineer needs excellent problem-solving skills because their work can’t afford to fail. Blockchain engineers also need to be able to communicate effectively with other teams working on different elements of virtual reality to integrate their platforms successfully.
