No, there is no negative marking on the GRE. You get points for the questions that you answer correctly. When you answer incorrectly, you get a zero for that question, and that’s it.

Since there is no negative marking on GRE, I advise that you pick a random answer if you don’t know the correct answer instead of leaving it blank. This gives you some slight chance to get the question right. In cases where you are confused between 2 answer choices, you have a 50 percent chance of getting it right on chance alone.

Hence, always pick out an answer even if you have no idea which one is correct.
