FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will your GRE preparation course cover all the areas tested on the GRE?

Yes, our course is designed to cover all topics tested on the GRE. Our focus is on real conceptual learning for the Math and Verbal sections, rather than just test-taking tips and tricks. Thereafter, we emphasize on how to apply these concepts on actual GRE questions from previous exams – ensuring that our students hone their skills and are able to apply these strategies on each question type.

What preparation resources are included in your GRE prep course?

When you enroll with us for a GRE course in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, you receive a comprehensive set of preparation material. This includes access to a personal online account with 1000+ questions, soft copies of the class lectures and access to online quizzes and mock exams.

How much homework do you give each week?

Each week you will get up to 100 homework questions plus a few online quizzes that you will have to do over the week. Please expect to spend up to 15-20 hours each week on the homework.

Do you offer a trial class for GRE Prep in Islamabad and Rawalpindi?

Yes, we do offer two trial classes for GRE in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The first two classes of every session can be attended without any cost.

Who writes all the GRE Questions and how real are they?

We design and edit all the questions ourselves. They are as close to the real questions as possible and reflect a true test-taking experience. We continually update these questions and incorporate new question types that are being currently tested on the GRE. We do this by closely observing the latest GRE test questions to make sure that our preparation content is up to the highest level.

Do you think if I prepare for the GRE exam on my own I will get a good score?

Yes you can. Preparing for the GRE does not always require coaching or support. Many self-study GRE aspirants have devoted time and energy to achieve their end. We know many students who have, through hard work and dedication, achieved top scores.

Can I go to U.S. without taking the GRE exam?

Unfortunately, GRE is a compulsory requirement for most of the universities in the U.S. However, there are a few programs that do not require a GRE score. You can check with the individual university websites to confirm their GRE requirements.

After taking your preparation classes for GRE, how long can I wait before I take the GRE test?

We recommend our students to take the GRE exam within one month after they end with our classes. The longer you wait, the higher the chances that you will lose momentum.

I missed your GRE prep class. How can I make it up?

If multiple students miss the same class then we can arrange a cover up weekend class. But that is a rare exception. We highly encourage students to attend all classes in full and we are very strict when it comes to missing our GRE classes for no reason.

Do I need to buy any outside material for this course?

No. All the preparation material is provided to all of our students at NO extra charge. The course fee includes the cost of the material and resources.

How difficult are the GRE prep test questions that you provide your students as part of your course?

We cover a wide range of difficulty from easy to hard and have designed the questions to help you master the content completely. This uniqueness in content is one of the major reasons why we believe Brightlink Prep is one of the leading GRE preparation academies in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Do you offer selected options of preparing for GRE general test?

Unfortunately due to the large number of students coming in we are unable to offer partial courses – you will have to take the full course regardless.

What pre-requisites do I need, in order to enroll for a course of GRE at BrightLink Prep?

You must have taken Math courses at the Intermediate level and have most of your recent education in an English medium environment. If that is not the case then we would advise you against taking the GRE and look for other alternatives instead.

Does your test prep GRE course concentrate more on the verbal or the quantitative section?

Our course is a balance of the two. However, some students have special needs and they want more attention on certain sections. In this case we give them extra work and exercises.

Is the GRE accepted by MBA programs?

A lot of MBA programs have started accepting the GRE exam in lieu of GMAT. However we would recommend that you check such specific requirements with your individual university.
